With Palumbella comes the first perfume of a line we have named ‘Moltitudini’, made exclusively from natural and botanical raw materials by La Selva di Positano.

Through fragrances we tell stories of women and men who really existed in Positano and its surroundings. Prominent individuals, symbols and icons, artists and intellectuals, who have passed through these places over time, shaping them. Fragrances that act as bridges between different eras and tell glimpses of life lived, revealing untold anecdotes of a rich and fascinating territory.

But that’s not all. In addition to the perfume itself, each packet contains a narrative booklet that reveals the intricate stories of the characters featured in these fragrant tales.
This captivating narrative is accompanied by evocative illustrations: the fine cardboard box is decorated with coloured chine, creating an all-round sensory experience.
Our aim is to take you on an exciting journey through smell, storytelling, history and image, offering you the chance to actually wear a sense of humanity that somehow identifies us and echoes within us.

The art behind perfume: only natural ingredients

We have chosen to use only natural raw materials to create our botanical perfume. Each olfactory note comes from carefully cultivated plants, flowers and spices, without the use of harmful chemicals. This not only preserves the environment, but also offers an authentic and uncompromising sensory experience.
Each spray of this perfume is a multifaceted and multi-coloured sensory journey that captivates you and takes you far away.

A stimulating collaboration

This perfume was born out of a collaboration between La Selva di Positano and Elena Cobez. I first met Martha Rubino in Milan, at one of my aromatherapy classes in 2017 and since then a friendship was born that immediately turned into a collaboration thanks to a shared artistic vision of perfumes made only with natural raw materials and a conceptual starting point: storytelling.

My olfactory sensations on the eau de parfum Palumbella:

“The notes of petit grain and sandalwood wrap themselves in an embrace like complementary elements, ready to meet the lightness of citrus. Floral essences pulsate as heart notes lending grace and sensuality to the composition. To complete, the base notes give depth to the whole and return us to a dimension of intense physicality, in which breath meets a still ancestral nature”.
